I grew up hearing that it’s a man’s world and we’re just living in it. For a long time I believed it. I showed up. I worked hard. I tried to earn my place at a table that was designed by men, for men, running on rules that were never built around how women actually operate.
And then I got tired.
Here is something most people do not talk about: men run on a 24-hour hormonal cycle. They can push with the same intensity every single day if they choose. Women run on a monthly cycle. We are wired for creativity, flow, and yes — rest. Taking business advice designed for a 24-hour cycle when you operate on a monthly one is not a discipline problem. It is a biology problem.
There is a way to be productive, make massive contributions, and completely change your life — without burning yourself out doing it the wrong way.
So I did what the woman who started Girl Scouts did. I stopped waiting for an invitation and built my own table.
Dangerous by Design was created to give women in sales more opportunities, real collaboration, and a space that addresses mind, body, soul, and business — all of it, together, in one room.
